In this event I will be discussing the the essential knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to lead and deliver an impactful careers programme. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to strengthen your provision, this session will empower you to begin building a careers programme that meets statutory guidance and transforms student futures.
The key areas that we will look at will be:
- Understand the Role of the Careers Leader Attendees will gain clarity on the responsibilities and expectations of a Careers Leader, including how to lead, manage, and coordinate a whole-school careers programme aligned with the eight Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Applying the Gatsby Benchmarks in Practice Attendees will explore the updated Gatsby Benchmarks and learn practical strategies for embedding them into their school’s careers provision, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and enhancing student outcomes.
- Access Tools and Resources to Build an Outstanding Programme Attendees will discover key tools, resources, and planning frameworks from The Careers Leader Handbook to help them design, implement, and evaluate a high-quality careers programme tailored to their school’s context.
